I’m delighted to appear at Town Hall Seattle in conversation with fellow Pacific Northwest bird author Maria Mudd Ruth. Her book, Rare Bird: Pursuing the Mystery of the Marbled Murrelet, was essential reading for my chapter on the Marbled Murrelet in Feathered Forest. Now Maria has a new bright, lively, and witty book out in 2026: The Bird with the Flaming Red Feet. Together, we will expore common themes in our books.
