Fact & Fiction Bookstore

Feathered Forest comes to Missoula! I am looking forward to seeing friends at the event along with others who are lovers of nature writing, big trees, birds, and conservation. One of my chapters features a return to Rattlesnake Creek where I observed kingfishers for seven years leading to my last book, Halcyon Journey: In Search of the Belted Kingfisher, winner of the 2024 John Burroughs Medal for outstanding nature writing. I’ll be signing books–an event just in time for buying holiday gifts.

Also, my interview with Lauren Korn for The Write Question will run the week before on radio and then be available as a podcast.
