Defending Roadless Wildlands, Oregon’s Wild Heart
September, 2025 News: I joined two other presenters on the Oregon Wild webinar, “Defending Roadless Wildlands, Oregon’s Wild Heart” and on a similar webinar for the Great Old Broads for Wilderness.
Since 2001, the Roadless Area Conservation Rule has ensured protection for big wild places across the United States, including 2 million acres of some of Oregon’s most iconic landscapes. With the Rule under threat as part of the Trump administration’s war on nature and public lands, we must stand up to defend the wild places we love. Join us to learn about the history of the Roadless Rule, and explore what’s at stake if it is repealed. We’ll zoom in on specific wild places around Oregon, and give you the tools you’ll need to make your voice heard.
