Amplify Our Voices
To my wonderful followers of my blog–and to new folks– I now post brief Substack writings on my website (www.marinarichie.com), which features the bi-monthly blogs on the home page. What’s the difference between the two? In a basic way, my blogs tend to take longer to write and include more photos. I started my blog in 2015 and intend to continue. Substack posts are shorter and I don’t post them on any kind of schedule.
So far, I’ve only written a handful, but plan to keep them going for the reasons of my newest substack post: “Amplify our Voices, Lessons from Birds & Georgia O’Keeffe.” I begin this way, “Every voice speaking up for our Democracy matters more than ever before. How can the chirping of one American Robin multiply, grow in volume, and become so urgent that everyone stops and looks at the bird and realizes —all we love is at stake?”

Below is the link to my website page for Substack posts. When you click on a photo of the post, that takes you to Substack. I’d also like to draw your attention to the post of January 28th– “I Care Deeply About…” (inspired by Heather Cox Richardson).
I’ll leave you with this Georgia O’Keeffe quote I love: “Nobody sees a flower really; it is so small. We haven’t time, and to see takes time – like to have a friend takes time.”
I appreciate you taking time for friends, flowers, birds, and for amplifying your gifts to the world.
